Here are just some of the many times last month when Americans relied on their Second Amendment rights to safeguard their lives and livelihoods, proving just how essential it is that Americans remain able to exercise those rights:

March 1, Makakilo, Hawaii: Local police said a man broke into a residence only to be confronted by the armed homeowner, who held the intruder at gunpoint until police arrived nearly 30 minutes later.

March 1, Leesburg, Florida: A concealed carry permit hold...

We would like send out condolences to the families of Tony Wallace and Richard White who lost their lives in the White Settlement shooting. We would also like to say thank you to Mr. Jack Wilson, whose bravery and quick actions saved many lives. This article was first written by Mike Wood from PoliceOne.com in Nov 2018. It is very difficult to write about how someone should react under the pressure of an active shooting scenario. But here are a few things that we must ensure we pra...

The Texas Legislature adjourned on Monday of Memorial Day weekend.  More than 7,300 pieces of legislation were introduced during the 2019 Regular Session, and tracked over 165 firearm-related bills through the process.

Governor Greg Abbott has already signed House Bill 302 by Rep. Dennis Paul (R-Houston) & Sen. Bryan Hughes (R-Mineola), legislation that prohibits “no firearms” clauses in residential leases.  This will protect tenants’ rights to possess lawfully-owned firearms and am...

Most districts arming educators are in rural areas with limited access to law enforcement.

POSTED ON JANUARY 16, 2019, 10:41 AM

The number of Texas school districts with policies allowing teachers and other staff to carry guns has increased almost 50 percent since the shooting at Santa Fe High School in May took 10 lives.

The holiday season is upon us and there is a huge concern on my mind. Did we know that during the last week of November, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) found a total of 122 firearms in bags at airports across the country?

According to TSA, a total of 3,957 firearms were found in 2017; and that 84% of those firearms were loaded.

The Dallas / Fort Worth International Airport had the second highest number of firearms 211 of those, 165 were loaded.

It is a concern becaus...

I have fought, worked and trained with (in my opinion) some of the greatest human beings in the world. Both men and women that I have always said were much better marksmen, operators and instructors than me. I attempt to give credit to as many people from my past that I can possibly give.

The Marine Corps taught me that every Marine is a basic rifleman, however they did not teach me much of what I was forced to learn from many of those individuals I mentioned previously. Of course,...

Many people go to the range before they make the decision to obtain their License to Carry, but what about after? Once they have obtained their LTC, many people tend to think they have passed the test; so therefore, they no longer require practicing. Well, I can throw all kinds of numbers and statistics at you but instead I will simply tell you why an LTC is a license to learn.

People don’t realize that having an LTC is a privilege, that privilege is currently being t...

Guardian 7 is a company named after a fallen brother Marine. First and foremost, I wanted to pay homage and respect for one of the best men I had the pleasure in knowing. His character, his mannerisms and charisma were one of a kind. Guardian 7 was his call sign, and therefore this company is called Guardian 7.

Why Guardian 7 for training? We are veteran owned and operated. We as a company have over 30 years experience in the art of handling firearms. That’s right, it...
